Refund policy

Effective 2026-07-27.

This is a digital service with immediate access, so a purchase cannot be handed back the way a physical thing can. What follows is when we refund anyway.

Look before you buy

A large part of the site is free and needs no account: catalogue size, price bands, the shape of a store. The paid parts are marked before you spend anything, and the price is shown on the button that spends it.

Trying the free parts on a store you already know is the cheapest way to judge whether the paid parts are worth it to you.

The general rule

Credits are consumed at the moment they unlock something, and the data is delivered in the same moment. That unlock is what the credit bought, so a consumed credit is not refundable.

Unlocking the same store a second time never charges again, so a credit buys that store permanently rather than one viewing of it.

Plan payments are not refundable once the plan is active and paid features have been used.

When we refund anyway

Duplicate or wrong charges. If you were billed twice or billed the wrong amount, the difference goes back, and you do not need to argue for it.

A failure on our side. If something broken here stopped you using what you paid for, and we could not fix it in reasonable time, that is ours to put right.

A charge for data that turned out to be missing or wrong. This one is deliberate policy rather than goodwill: a credit spent on an estimate we got badly wrong did not buy what it was sold as.

Cancelling

A plan can be cancelled at any time from the account. Access continues to the end of the period already paid for, and nothing is charged after that.

Cancelling does not refund the current period or any earlier one. It stops the next charge.

Asking

Say what happened and, if it is about a specific store, which one. Every request is read by a person rather than a form, and a refund that is clearly owed is not made difficult.
